Does the Sequential Router have a wiring diagram hidden away somewhere? I was looking on the Yusynth site, but there doesn't seem to be any wiring diagram for the Sequential Router. I decided to just follow the schematic and have already wired everything, but there are a few issues with the module and I'd like to double check my wiring against a wiring diagram if possible to make sure I've done everything correctly.

Okay, well, I've managed to figure out what was causing the issues with the Panel wiring. I found out that on the Panel, the rotary switch positions 1-10 in order are reset, A1-B1, A1-B2, A1-B3, A2-B1, etc. whereas the order that is on the ten pin pcb header is A1-B1, A2-B1, A3-B1, A1-B2... Basically, the A's and B's are flipped. If anyone else is in the process of building one of these keep this in mind or you'll probably end up making the same mistake I did. I also decided to omit the debouncing capacitor for the shift input so that I could clock it at higher rates. Otherwise, the debouncing capacitor also ends up serving as a low pass filter on the shift input. I was thinking it might not be a bad idea to build a separate circuit on perf-board that would be a dedicated push-button switch circuit so that I can have the debouncing cap on the button without it affecting higher clock rates, but I probably won't get around to this until I've got nothing else to do. It's not a huge deal after all.

I find it interesting and kinda odd that this circuit uses a 4051 and a 4520 to create a 6 or 8 step sequencer. Would a single 4017 not work for a circuit like this? It just got me wondering if it was designed the way it was for a reason, or just for fun. Either way works!

Oh, and here's a picture of the module now that it's up and running.

By the way, are you using 1pole 12 positions rotary switches ?

I can't find rotary switches with 10 positions

Many rotary switches actually use a tab which allows you to set how many positions on the switch you want. Here's an example of one of those switches https://www.taydaelectronics.com/rotary-switch-1-pole-12-position-alpha-sr2611f.html
there should be a washer with a little tab underneath the nut that determines the max number of positions, just set that so you have 10.
