It's my first post here, so Hi !

When I drive a sequencer with a square LFO (in poly mode), the sequence is actually polyphonic.
But I'd like the sequence to be sync with an external clock.
The "Clock" module found in the LFO section doesn't seem to allow a polyphonic use.
Am I right ? Any help how to achieve this ?

Thanks !

Hi

LFOB has a Clk mode, just keep pressing the button above the rate knob.
In this mode the output will sync to a multiple of the midi clock (external or internal).

A sequencer in the voice area of a poly patch is only kind of polyphonic though.

Ah, I totally missed this option, great !
I'm curious, would you care to explain what are the limits of "polyphonic sequencing" ?

All the G2 sequencers are monophonic. If you put one in the voice area of a poly patch set to play 8 voices, you just get each voice transposed by 8 identical sequencers (not counting tricky patching with the status module and switches). If you use multiple sequencers in a mono VA/FX that control a poly patch in another slot via midi, that might be the most productive technique.

It can get a little nuts though.

That one of the reasons why i bought a G2. I'm in love with the "gated sequencers" of the Prophet Rev2.
I'll check your patch, thanks !

This patch is quite insane.
I'm still trying to figure out the chaining system of sequencers. I'm not 100% sure of what I'm doing and sometimes, when messing with sequence lengths, the whole sequence stops playing.
Any tutorial somewhere to properly get the chaining concept ?
I find the manual to be lacking an example.
