OMG I actually finished something! (well, for values of "finished" that mean "fully functional" not necessarily in any kind of ENCLOSURE)

It's a 16n fader bank.

For *my* purposes, it just provides 16 CV sliders 0 - 5V. As you see it has a Teensy on it, it can also be used for USB or standard MIDI to generate CCs, and it also talks I2C to talk to Monome gear.

added a few things in the new case ,had a vc echo pcb i made myself laying around almost populated ,then a mixer as in Serge schematic i just used TL071 and added an attenuated output ,added a NLC Neuron but i added a comparator from Yusynth schematic on neuron's output simply cause there was space on the panel and the stripboard ,left is the on off switch for the PSU ,ground connection and converters .

I love Marvin the Martian. I have a portable radio with a telescoping antenna and I put a Marvin car antenna ball on it.

Looks super nice!!! Thanks for sharing the information and the link for this project. When (and if) I ever get back to my Mega 256 based midi controller (also with sliders), I will look at this project more closely for possible ideas. Thanks for calling it to our attention. --Steve

You can use the browser test page in Google Chrome to test the USB-MIDI output - useful for quick debugging.

Since the code the developers use relies on the WebMIDI API, several other browsers based on chrome should also work. I successfully tested some others, just don't ask me which ones (Opera, AVG, and possibly some others I might have tested with my own and others' web-based midi stuff).

2019-04-03: edited to reflect info from elmegil that he is a builder of the 16n, not the developer. Thanks for the clarification.

The 16n is not mine Smile I'm just a builder on that project.

In other news I tried to get the panels for the 16n from Ponoko but I had to convert some colors to get it accepted; I used inkscape which is apparently a problem when dealing with vector art that came from somewhere else, the scale is ridiculously off (about 150% of the needed size, and when I look at it in inkscape to verify this, it is neither the size needed, nor the size that Ponoko lasered it at, so I have no clue what the deal is.

This module is INSANELY fun. You would not believe how fun it is. I'm glad I didn't just go with the simplest controller I could find.

The socketed TO-92 is a jfet -- I didn't have a MPF102 on hand, so socketed a J112 in, instead. Seems to go okay.

This is what I have my touch strip mounted to. It looks stupid, but it works.

Phobos sent me this, and it's weirdly fun. I don't think I could get away with playing with it out loud for a long time, at least while other people are in the house. (ALAN, TURN IT DOWN!)

Went together very nicely. I mucked up with the pin headers (one is not flush with the board), but it works!

I built a little unipolar lfo to use with my (semi-)modular synths. it has a ramp/triangle and a pulse/square output and also attenuators to tweak the levels. It works like a charm! Cool

Six voice polysynth, all DIY Smile

The only problem so far is that my only MIDI controller is a full size digital piano that takes up loads of space.

Looks super nice!!! As for the MIDI controller, if (as a total novice when it comes to circuits and enclosures) I can breadboard midi controller stuff with my limited skills, from what I have seen, it should be child's play for someone with your DIY talents.

I made a Tap Tempi Eurorack Module.
Its inputs are a Momentary Tap Switch and a Tempo input square(pulse) signal.
The (simultaneous) outputs are: A pulse each time the Tap switch is pressed or when a leading edge of the input signal is detected, two pulses, three pulses, four pulses and an output where you can chose from the other outputs by pressing a small switch next to the other 4 outputs which tempo you want.

Short demo HERE
