Hello forum folks! Subject description: New member introducing |

Hi everyone!
I just signed here and Im looking forward to observe and discover new things going on.
Im a 26-year old music student from Finland, a guitar player with a passion for electronic music, songwriting and composition. My dream is to get my music out of my home studio (or first to find out is there even any market for what Im making..) and thats what Im now working on right now.
My taste of music has always been kinda weird to most of my friends even for the musicians and thats why I searched and found my way to this community, and also because Ive found the mainstream social media kinda too superficial forum to really deeply discus about anything.
Some of my favorite musicians atm: Bach, Mozart, Mahler, Schnittke, Thomas Ades, Arvo Pärt, Steve Reich, Iannis Xenakis, Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Donny Mccaslin, Klaus Schulze, Joel Fajerman, Knower music, Dirty Loops, Explosions in the Sky, Muse, Radiohead, Ölafur Arnalds, Johann Johannsson, Deadmau5.. Okay better stop trying to do the listing..
Im composing and producing myself, and now working on a project called H00proller (fusion/experimenta/multigenre or whatever music composed and produced with low budged gear: guitars, mics and software things, cubase/reaper/reason+plugins) Im doing collabs with other musicians and other artist as well.
I made a one year plan for what I will work on so it would be easier to focus on the core: making music. I have a rule that I have to release new music every week no matter if I feel its undone. This has been going well for now and it makes me feel that I actually get something done (even though I hate my self after every music piece Ive posted..)
Im not pro in anything. All the areas Im doing by (composing, producing, sound designing and mixing) need to improve so much but this is the thing I love to do so I dont care. Here is my Youtube channel that has all my music out there so far.

Anyway, I didnt come here for self promotion but to learn new things about music so thank you for letting me join! |

I can very much relate to your list of influences and your music brought me back to my early days of exploring soundscapes... I get where you are coming from.
Thank you for sharing... here is something for you. 😎

Hi there! We already connected on instagram adn youtube since you left the comment, and I missed your reply here. Thanks a lot!
I listened to Pluck and Drum. Really nice piece. Even though its like electroacoustic, it has somehow clear form which I like a lot. The sound design awesome too. |
