I record this track last night and i try to make a different felling for the unexpectible drum line. As IDM should be.

nice track :)

It's good too that you didn't add the often too predictable disto-drum line to it. A problem with much music that is loop based.

I totally agree. loopless versions should be compulsory. Very Happy

I like this, but it doesn't resemble anything called IDM that I have heard before.

Whatever you call it, to me it is electro-music, a high compliment. It is challenging because it is very different. Very musical but not transparent. Splendid...

I think it does. It depends in what context it is used. For eg, if I were to have written something like this, It would most probably be used at the beginning or end of an LP. Alternatively, I'd use it on the b-side of a single, or at the beginning of a live set. However, If it were my track, it would have to be at the most, half the length of the original length, because imo, it's too long.

Alternatively, one could break the law altogether and just build it up an up for the entire length of the set/ lp for maximum annoyance to the listener! ;)

there you go :)

Dear v-un-v,
Your are quite right, I dont care enjoyable music has a long time running. For exp, I am glad to buy a electronic 2cds ambient album from an artist,(Actually, of course with price of 1 cd's haha), But long version really do not fit for a live performance so much, your idea for creating 2 different version of the track is quite useful and practicable. Very Happy
