Greetings fellow electronic artists!

Just writing in to say Hi. I'm working in Hamilton, Ontario and have recently finished my debut album. Found this site in my search for self-promotion and am very impressed with it and its potential for building community. Looking forward to being a part of it!

A few sample tracks are still under review on iuma.com, but should be up in a few days. In the meantime you can check out some of the groovy cover art at www.geocities.com/beatamateur

If anyone's got suggestions for sites willing to host your tracks I'd love to hear from you.

Cheers!

ps: thanks for hooking me up mosc!

Welcome aboard, Beat.

Looking forward to hearing your sounds. The graphics look excellent. I hope we get to meet. Xeroid Entity had a blast the last time we played at the Ambient Ping and we're certainly going to try to make another trip up your way in the coming months.

Aha! Someone up on the southern Ontario electronic scene! Sad to say I've never been to Ping, but have heard of it. There was another night started in Hamilton (futursonic) that I think is still happening, maybe not all that regularly anymore though.

Let me know if you swing through town again between now and end of April, when I'm likely relocating to the US.

I'm planning to send in some cds for the electro-music store soon, so if you have access to the promo copies you can check out all my tracks. I'm trying to make the few I'm posting representative, but the album's got lotsa different stuff on it.

ps: The science graphics from the album are courtesy of my friend Marc Champigny (soon-to-be Dr. Champigny)

Hmmm. You should make a point of going to the Ping, especially if you're about to move south. I try to post all of the Ping announcements in the News forum. They have something going on every week. Wish someone did that near here, although I can't complain about Philadelphia which has a pretty nice EM scene.
