after i read the thread about lorentz attractors in the g2 forum and as i was a little bit bored at work, i bulked this little reaktor lorentz attractor piece together. not quite sure if it's a pure lorentz function. and sometimes it seems to stuck, but quite often it recovers itself again.
not that magic piece of generativ music. it's just a beatloop resynthesis. and does sound really beautiful from time to time.

cool. i don't know if it's a pure Lorentz function, either, but it's fun to play with.

i'm not sure why, when pressing the Seed buttons, the Numeric only shows a '1' and then the Seed buttons seem to have no further effect when pressed.

what do the XYZ macros do and what are the abc knobs controlling?

really, the seed buttons don't do anything? in my ens. the numeric display shows the number after the randomization process, before the are calculated in the function.

the lorenz-function is:
d(x)/dt = a(y-x)
d(y)/dt = x(b-z)-y
d(z)/dt = xy-cz
the xyz macro and the abc knobs provide the xyz and abc values calculated in the function
the three other knobs only provide a clipping for the events.

i see. my fault. will alter this as soon as i find time (read as: need to work again) at this moment. you are right, the seed knob, does nearly nothing as resetting to 1, so a new random calculation for xyz can begin
