Hi allez!
I need a midi plug in to recreate the "reassinging voice logic" used in Oberheim 4 e 8 voice.
I mean would like to recreate a situation like this:

1)I press a key and the note is sent to the first midi ch #1 of the virtual instrument.
2) If now I press a key while the older one is still kept (note off for the first note not sent) the second note will now be sent to midi ch #2
3)If a further key is pressed while note on ch#2 is still playng it will be sent on ch #3 and so on

anybody know how to get a midi plug in that do this ?!

THANK YOU

Thank YOU so much!
And by the way, congratulation for this wonderful site!
Well,at this point I wonder if there is a vsti that already has this feature.
maybe a virtual copy of those oberheim machines.
I think Arturia should make one!

I'm not a VST user but I have tried a lot of programs that process MIDI on the computer. I think you could go with MAX/MSP or PD. Also, another option which is extremely good is KeyKit, by our own member Tim Thompson. See: http://nosuch.com/keykit/index.html

Have a look here:

SplitPoly from Frank's midi plugins can certainly do this...
http://www.midi-plugins.de/mplug-splpol.html

Or maybe NicFit's ndc_ch_drive:
http://asseca-pt.net/nicfit/ndc_ch_drive.html

Or maybe the MFX Note Rotator:
http://www.tencrazy.com/gadgets/mfx/

Or maybe Paralogos Orchid:
http://www.paralogos.com/music/

Good luck!

Kind regards,
