I'm not sure I know what "run" button on a MIDI controller is. Maybe it is used as a clock start signal.

Moving this to the MIDI Controllers forum as it is not a G2 FAQ exactly...

I would like to know what midi controlers come with a "run" function? That sounds quite cool!

You could hit a button labeled "list"

and the controler would output something like;

10 BEEP
20 GOTO 10

On it's LCD schreen after which you'd hit this "run" button. It'd be so much fun!

I guess that "run" is the same thing as "start".
Which mostly tells a sequencer to start playing.
Works on some arpeggiators too.
Some devices will only send clocks after receiving this.
