Just thought ---> has anyone tried a lo-power mod on the WSG? Y'know - like adding a 1k pot inline from the battery to the board to simulate the battery running out of juice? Such ideas work quite well in other circuits so why not here?

Top idea,
The WSG sounds great for that 1/4 of a sec when you pull the battery, so starving it of juice should sound really cool.

Chaps- I've split this thread- because it has nothing to do with list suggestions!!!

A good thread- so it now has a proper title too.

I may also add that if you starve the Yamaha VSS-30 from power it does all kinds of wierd and wonderful things!!

Built a quicky version of the WSG (the filter bit doesn't seem to work at the moment BOO but hope to sort it tonight) and tried out a few pots for low power. Usually I've used a low value like 1K, but for this it seemed best to use something up towards 1Meg (maybe log, maybe lin, depends on response preference). And, DAMN, it sounds great.!.
