Three new tracks. |
|
|
Hello,
How are things?
Project Alpha ( actually that's me) has started to bring out work. The first reviews were encouraging but the project is looking for more feedback. Hence I post this message here as well to ask you all to take a moment and go listen and give your opinion/feedback.
Allthough I do not know if my music really fits in here. Except bassguitar there are only electronical instruments used, but the style....??? Well, we'll see how y'all think about it.
One of my questions is in what style this music should be fitted, is it modern day jazz, fusion, funk, lounge, new age or what?
I'm a bassplayer originally but in this project I play all instruments one can hear so far, record and produce all things myself, no samples used in the music.
Accept maybe a drum machine which I programmed myself, played the pattern in live so to speak.
As said I'm a bassplayer originally and not a real solo player on keyboard for excample and I find there is room for that still in my work. Trombone maybe in the first piece.
Mainly I try to create a certain atmosphere in my songs rather than make a pop song kind of thing. I think I still have to learn much so any help is welcome.
If you are interested please go and listen at:
http://www.radioindy.com/jamroom/bands/1054/music.php
I put three pieces there.
The top one called Soaring Eagle I just finished recently.
Since response is quite good I'm looking for exposure to, any ideas how I might be able to realise that? I'm quite new at this ye know.
Thanks in advance and with kind regards, Project Alpha.

Hey,
Depending on the results of the poll I'll be either glad to be here or sad.
With kind regards, P-Alpha.

Hey,
Thanks
Norway? Not far from here.
I had a listen to your music too and I have to listen to it some more.
Pretty different from my stuff.
But very good in it's own genre I think.
With kind regards, P-Alpha.

Hey
Grazi!! (?)
Com es tai??!!
And that's about all the Italian I know, so don't get excited okay
I like the tune of "Close encounters of the third kind" on your website, cool!!
Thanks very much for your feedback!! I'm just starting out with this and I know it's still very rough around the edges. I'm trying to catch an atmosphere rather than a solo-istic kind of thing. Couldn't do that anyway.
Still my music got quite a few streams generated in just about 4 1/2 months now. I did not expect that.
I saw Zawinul mentioned on your site, I'm a great fan of his for years now. I can hear his echo, no?? I only mean that in the best of ways and as a compliment surely.
As a matter of fact I wrote him at his club in Vienna to see if he was at all interested in my music for a project or something but I guess it wasn't good enough or he has other plans since I didn't here from him since.
But I do hope I'll be going strong on stage the way he does still when I have reached his age, hahahaha!!
As I write I'm listening to samples from your(?) archive, Minestronic and others.
Very good indeed!!
I put your web-site to my favorites.
With kind regards, Ad.

Hey,
at your homepage (on the url you provide at the bottom of your posts http://www.seraph.it/index1.html ) there are notes as buttons, no?
They represent "Info", "Projects","work", "news"and "links".
They also make a sound those notes. If you "play" the notes fairly fast after one another it results in the notes/melody used by Steven Spielberg in one of his first movies called "Close encounters of the third kind" . That same sequence of notes was used in that movie to communicate with the aliens who came visiting, so music to communicate with the first visitors on earth. A great movie. If you don't know it go and see it!!! You'll recognize the tune you have on your homepage when you "play" the notes there.
You didn't know??
With kind regards, P-Alpha

Hey,
How are you?
Sorry for answering this late.
No, I wasn't talking about that, sorry if I gave that impression.
Since i'm here I might as well ask a bold question.
Friends tell me that I should try and get mainstream exposure with aspecially the line which was set in with the the track Soaring Eagle.
Do you think so to and if so how to go about it, got any links perhaps?
If not, what should I try to improve on them.
I would appreciate any advice.
With kind regards, P-Alpha.

Hello,
Yes it is reggae-ish.
Very perceptive that you noticed, not many do.
Thanks for your compliment.
With kind regards, P-Alpha.

Hey,
Thanks to you I hit the top 10 musicians at the site where I put my music !!!!!
Never thought that to be possible, there are over 500 bands there.
Thanks again for feedback.

Hey dudes,
All the best wished to you in the coming year.
And thanks for your feedback on my tracks.
They still are goin up in the world it seems. Much to my own surprise and despite the critisizm which sometimes on the spot and true by the way.
There's still much I must improve.
However the tracks are at place 4 now and are going towards 14.000 streams and downloads now.
My year starts well, I hope yours is doing the same.
Kind regards, P-Alpha. _________________ It don't mean a thing if the bass isn't in!!
