If you are in the Chicago area, or are planning travel
through illinois, drop by Muse Cafe.
A trio of owners bought the cafe and formed the organization
in late August 05'. Live events occur tuesday through
thursdasy nites, 7-10pm and are all donation based,
directly to the artists.
Wednesday:::Sonic Foundry Electronik Series

The best local and national laptopists, djs, and
electro-acoustic fused groups coffee can buy!
Thursdays:::Improvised Intuitive Series
freejazz-experimental-live organica-odd indie
Celebrating several great traditions in Chicago,
the extensive freejazz scene here in congruence
with the southside, north & northwest side avant
garde circles, Muse presents a genuine showcase
of the various talents floating between the inside
of jazz tradition and the extreme outside. Our
concern is the presentation of the much understated
middle ground between the two, connecting with
fusion/prog-live drumNbass outfits-indie/punk
Our jam sessions occur on:

Muse Cafe is also a place to get your drink on, BYOB
after 7pm with ID, an ecclectic eatery with tons of
homemade incrediblly edible products, and an experimental
and tested menu of coffee, tea, and espresso house favs
and creations.
