I´m thinking about buying a 303 upgrade kit ...
with the kenton kit i would get cv/gate/filter/accent/slide - inputs for my roland.

does anyone of you already installed that thing?
is this very difficult to install? how much time do you think does a normal guy like me spend to get this extension kit working?

If you've got a drill and a decent soldering iron I'd say with soldering/modding experience, 2-3hrs. Without soldering/modding experience, 4-5hrs.

i will mod that thing with the help of my dad...he´s excellent in soldering...so this might not be a problem ... Wink

No, I just estimated from the look of the kit and the description. It's pretty much just a case of soldering the sockets to circuit points which already exist, the ability to connect something to them just wasn't implimented in the original.
Don't forget you need the Midi-CV controller that they're talking about at the top of the page.
