Looks like it'll be a killer.

Ooh! I notice a reverb output - is there a tank built into this thing?

Cheers,
Scott

Very nice,
I agree with Zeb though, all that red wire would give me a headache.
I actually forgot that 1uF on the output for a few days, and it didn't seem to matter too much. Most mixer inputs are de-coupled anyway.

heh heh , it works! even though all the switches work backwards! here are some noises.

the reverb tank is to go in soon(and the joystick and s&h) , but the ring mod works ok.

has anyone used the ken stone ring modulator ( http://www.cgs.synth.net/ ) on theirs? i have trouble balancing the input signal and carrier without loads of spill from the input

I have used these transformer/diode ring mods a lot, especially back in the 70s when good ring modulator circuits were very expensive. They are not good at signal rejection. You would have to have perfectly matched transformers and diodes for them to work well in that department. Look at them as a nice cheap noise/distortion makers. If you want a real clean cricuit, with very stable carrier rejection, use one of the Analog Devices laser trimmed chips as discussed in several places on the forum.
