This track, although not very electronic, is the first one I've decided to post here. Three friends of mine wrote and played the acoustic guitars, and the e-bow solo. I wrote the melody/lyrics and did the percussion, bass, and vocals. I call it my Dean Martin track. It was written for Felicity my wife.
Hope you all like it.
There's more (classically electronic sounding) tracks to come soon.
Thanks,
Andrew

A very good song. I like it.

Not at all the kind of music I would expect from reading all your posts about DIY synths and such.

I did it on Cakewalk PA8.
The percussion is all soundfonts, and a reverse/forward cymbal clip I recorded.
The acoustic guitars have a bit of soft compression, (Behringer auto-com pro, but I made it subtle cos I wanted to keep the dynamics) same with the bass.
I re-recorded the vocals after finding out how to properly set up the vocal compression, socking the mic etc.
Mixed on my stereo with a pair of DM110s
Added a bit of open space reverb, (Dean Martin wandering around a spainish courtyard style!! Laughing )
Mastered with T-Racks
