I noticed yesterday that when I amplify the output from the SL I can hear the LFO a little, if it is set to high frequences. Does anyone else have the same "problem"?

Yeah,
a couple of people have mentioned various amounts of bleed through, from the LFO, or sometimes the noise gen. I got it a bit, it's virtually disappeared since I moved to the regulated +/-12V supply. I still reckon it's got something to do with the supply rails getting contaminated by the digital chips etc. I asked Ray about it and he said that it might help to put some extra bypass caps across the chip supply pins, a 9V battery which is on the way out could also contribute to the same problem.

Yeah I got that too. Wondered if it would be a good idea to put a cap between R92 and the -9V line - and what size cap to use?

BTW: I have had my Soundlab tucked away under the couch for over a year because I had given up on it...Took it out for a serious debugging session yesterday, and it now works almost perfectly, except for the LFO bleedthrough...! This forum has grown a lot in the last year or so, hasn't it?

Cool

Regards C

Yeah, it sure has.
This is the only place I can sit and chat to other people who are on my kind of wavelength when it comes to electronics and music and computers and all the stuff in between.
It keeps me sane (er) Laughing
