No party this year, since I no longer live close by (moved about two hours North, to the Poconos). But if you're there on Thursday, you're welcome to swing by the CAC and help set up or just meet up for dinner.

Thanks to Howard and Greg for getting the schedule up so quickly. From the looks of it, this year will again be a very diverse and eclectic mix of EM. I'm also happy to see that there will be a NOISE jam for the adventuresome few. So until June, I wish everyone the best and can't wait to hear the performances.

The schedule is still tentative. We haven't had confirmations from everyone on there yet. I guess there will be a few cancellations, and some artists added from the waiting list. Also some people may have schedule restictions they haven't told us about yet. If possible we will try to accommodate them.

Jonn's a nice guy. Can't wait to see him live. And seeing David Hughes will be a rare treat, too. I'm glad to see so many of the Gears Of Sand artists will be there, too (Ben Fleury-Steiner, Aidan Baker, Mikronesia, Synthetic Block, Pholde and RedFadesBeforeBlue, of course). All in all, an amazing lineup. Lots of returning acts that were great and lots of great new ones, too. I can't wait to be a part of it.

I really would love to join you all again this year, but the chances are very small, I think about 0.053%, but it is still a chance...

0.053% is better than 0.052%. Very Happy

Well if it isn't Scott Raymond... ah yes, our infamous ride back to the hotel will never be forgotten. I'll bring the photos from last year. PM me with your PO Box so I can send you some new music. Take care.

Howard are you planning to do a webcast this year ?
And maybe also a 'stored' version, so that us poor people in the UK / EU can at least listen to it, if not live, then later.
I'm remembering New Yeras Eve, you see.

Especially Mr. Hughes, our 'representative' bless his cotton socks

Cool

Mike -

My god. And after all I've tried to flush that memory from my brain.

Kidding... Wink

Scott and Mike and Mark's not-so-excellent adventure... I still have nightmares about it. Mike decides to take a different route back to the hotel, and Scott follows because he thinks the Amaranth boys know a shortcut. Boy, was I ever wrong... That's a part of Philadelphia you'll never see on any tourist map, I'll admit. Then again, how many festivals like this can offer such fringe benefits, like the serious threat to life and limb? It's what keeps me coming back, that's for sure. Can't wait to see what kind of trouble we can get ourselves into this year.

Yes, we sorta worked the kinks out of the streaming system on New Years Eve. We're hoping to have streaming out of the Theater and the Large Gallery for every event, but we need volunteers and a lot a mic cables. Last year we did the streaming via a small FM transmitter which proved to be unsatifactory.

Must calm down e-m 06 is so uncontrollably exciting .
What an honor to see Rock and I will be opening the festival in the main gallery on June 2 .
Sometimes it pays to wait.

Is this the final schedule yet, or is it still going to change? I notice that our band got moved to earlier in the day on Sunday, and we'd already (prematurely, I now realize) sent out announcements of the time. No big disaster (and I KNOW the email said "tentative" schedule, but I had other commitments earlier in the afternoon that now have severely compressed my ability to make it to my own gig!

We can work around this if it's still in flux, but you need to let all the performers know when it's finalized. I don't envy the job you have trying to make this happen though!!

The schedule is in flux until after it's over. Laughing

We'll try to take this into consideration. Best to send messages about the details of the event to event @ electro-music.com

Yes, if you have schedule restrictions please let us know.
We have some late cancellations, add one or two off the waiting list, and sometimes people find they have a conflict they didn't know about before.
We try to accommodate as many requests as possible.
Since the schedule may continue to be adjusted up to the last minute, we need to know who is flexible about their times and who isn't.
Thanks
