For a newbie to start with, what is the best software to go for studio sound production? I have been working with live5 to create some good loops and now I want to take it to the production Cool , what will be worth the investment I make, I have been told that Nuendo3 costs double that of Cubase? Comments please.... Question

Nuendo has many more features than SX that lean toward post-production and sound for video...as well as 5.1 surround mixing

it may be overkill for your audio productions

Are there any of the special features in Nuedo you really need right now?

SX is quite robust, should be more than enough coming from Live 5.

I want to do a house music compliation....From the specifications it seems that Nuendo has a better sampling frequency for the input and output than Cubase does this have a profound effect on the quality of sound? Incase of audio production alone(video is not my area) which is more user friendly? Rolling Eyes
