73+ min long form work that slowly drift along transparent synthwashes, developing through silent landscapes in his formation, almost hostile, sometimes underground, always stony, ancient. Nocturnal Emanations presents a series of sound spaces that have his seed in the piece that gives title to the work. From the beginning of the cd, the treatment of all the sonorous elements is totally free, almost randomly. The use of sequencers has reduced to the minimum to increase the atmospheric feel and the tempo is sensitively slow. The first piece, "A Spark of Deity", introduces us squarely in a world that in spite of his apparent aridity wraps us of life, and transports us slowly to the second piece, which represents the gravitational center of the whole cd: " Nocturnal Emanations's ". The track´s sinuous movement was created without any type of synchronism, in this way the layers of synthesizers move freely along the whole piece "rubbing" harmonically some with others. The occasional visit of grooves alters momentarily the semi-moonstruck state of all the tracks, altering the surreal architecture, intriguingly and deeply organic. This CD conjures up an amazing world that we feel remotely past, like a forgotten sanctuary, approaching the sonorous aridity to human senses.

"The resonant Memory of Earth", is a slow landscape of organic, waving and mysterious atmospheres. Max Corbacho completes some ways begun in "Vestiges", but of an absolutely floating atmospheric form. Across all four tracks that compose the album, Corbacho brings the listener to a new state of acoustic perception, inducing a state of drowsiness, increased by the down tempo, the sinuous movement of mysterious sonorous currents and the subtle, fine harmonic architecture, ever mutating and regenerating. Soft coiling and morphing textures, heavy atmospheric textural music for a deep drift into the dimensions of space and time.

"Indifferent to the pass of time, drawn on a sheltered rock face in the Sierra Maria-Los Velez mountains in the north of Almeria province, appears one of the most famous logos of Spain, designed by an anonymous artist 5000 years ago. The anthropomorphous figure has the open arms and maintains up an arc. It impress us their almost magic appearance, perhaps carrying the rainbow like promise of rain and wealth, to welcome to us with its hospitality or, simply, its author only wanted to warn us with this mark of which she was the tribe to whom it belonged. The symbol appears in other places of the east of Andalusia. Thanks to the initiative of an artistic movement of avanguard in the years 60, was adopted like symbol of all the province of Almeria and baptized like "Indalo". Bruno Sanfilippo and Max Corbacho made a trip to Almeria the summer of 2001, being hypnotized by a spectacular, tremendously hard and of a strange beauty landscape. The ancestral figure of "Indalo" seems to dominate to this music, inducing a powerful call in our subconscious mind, reacting with lethargic visions when the cicadas leave their song... Is the announcement of night. The hour of which the stars embrace to this supernatural place."


"Indalo" will be the first collaborative work between Bruno Sanfilippo http://www.bruno-sanfilippo.com/ and Max Corbacho. A collection of previously unreleased tracks, destined originally to projects in collaboration that finally did not see the light, plus two totally new pieces. The four first tracks correspond to stage 2000-2001, the tribal character emerges forcefully in "Suntribe", the first piece of the CD, and the energic percussions accompany the atmospheric textures also in the next two tracks. The two final pieces were created in the last months of 2003, in them can be appreciated the evolution of Max´s soundscapes. The final cut, "Moontribe", spiral in an entrancing and melancolic synth layered chords over 20 minutes, a vastly, relaxed and amorphous immersive conclussion. More information soon.
