This is actually a very old piece which I re-did. It's my attempt at doing a bit of "chamber music" I 'spose. It's a very simple little sequence under a canon style melody which repeats twice. The percussion is made from a recording of a step-by-step switch in an old telephone exchange. A bit contrived, but I've always loved it.

Far out Krunk! I like your writing. And definitely has contrapuntal content. Cool Cool

I've got contrapuntal content! Very Happy
I've got contrapuntal content! Shocked
What does that mean? Laughing

From my subjective view point it means the music is more interesting and offers more pleasures than it could otherwise. As for the rest you’ll have to look it up. Smile

I like this a lot. Very nice feeling to it. Good one... Thanks.

Bachus and I could argue for hours about this one being contrapuntal in nature - but I'll spare you that. Very Happy

What if I only tentatively assert that the voice sung by the harp is a linearization of harmony and that such linearization has “contrapuntal value?”

Certainly if I were designing an algorythm to give a numeric rating for overall “contrapuntalizm” Rolling Eyes such linearized harmonic techniques would contribute positively to that value.

I agree with Bachus. This is good. Stylistically this is slighly weird like mix of Sibelius and Philip Glass. I like that.

Thanks everybody.
There's a new one on the way, which I'll post as soon as I get it mastered.
