Hey folks,

I am leaving for Seattle shortly, for the NordWest06 meet today. Hopefully we wil be streaming the event live.

Stay tuned for another post with the stream info (if we can get it working).

I just bought some stroopwaffels!

Another great NordWest meet!!!
We didn't manage to get the streaming audio thing together but I believe we have some fantastic audio capture to edit and post online later (almost 5 hours of audio in 140 files ... phew!!)

Paul, it was nice to meet you. Dasz and Rhombus ... great to see you both again and thanks for the introduction to stroopwaffels Dasz.

Looking forward to NordWest III already!

That was tons of fun and i bring back some important g2 knowledge. And thanks for that patch grimley. A bit of modification to suit my setup and that's gonna be brilliant for improv. I hope to post a couple patches I was using by week end.

i have created 3 more patches since the meet.

1st one is called space_needle_dz2. see my pch2 post --- created in seattle on a g2 demo on a laptop together with rhombus. and the space needle (nice panorama of seattle from your place, dude) which is the little poster for this meet Nordwest06 Seattle. I hope there is another Norwest06 before the 07 one!

2nd one is a 303 ish mutant - named after one of the attendees

3rd one is actually ambient with the exception of the crunchy synth. and uses randomization for pitch tuning with glide on top of it so it feels like it is lost in space.

All on top of an intense week. The weekend was great, thanks for the inspiration!

warped guitar is a sequencer running one of ake's guitar patches. I'm sure I posted it. Oh wait, here it is Wink

For Ake in those days we dreamed that one day the G2 would come to be. Modwheel active on slot B variation 1 - 3 only. don't use the others. modwheel is pitchshift on the string. bend that pitch stick!
