hi all,

so i´d like to build a polivoks filter. the schematics are available on the net and i dont foresee any problem here, but after many trial and error i am sure that I SUCK AT MAKING PCB LAYOUTS Sad
no really, i just dont get it right - not with adobe illustrator, not with pen and paper.
i know i could buy pcbs from marc bareille, but i am sooo in love with etching them myself Wink (toner transfer method - works like a charm, really!)
well, if anyone happens to have a pcb design for the filter i´d be superhappy!

thank you, creekree

i don´t have a PCB for this but, you should try drawing some traces whit illustrator. we all ready know the layout so just ad traces Smile
i know its not as easy as it sounds but give it a try.

You could just buy a PCB here:

Have you tried a real PCB program, like CadSoft's EaglePCB? You may have a little more learning curve to use it, but there are good tutorial's on the site. The free version will let you make small 2 sided boards. And will auto-routeif needed.

for something simple like this i recommend giving "pcb designer" from Niche Software a try. not as complex as those others, for me, it goes alot faster and is abit easier on the eyes.

for just a one-off, why not try proto-board? if it's the practice you're after, then this might be a good project to take on though, and yes, making your own is fun.
