Andromeda and Drums

I want to program drums with the andromeda and want to use for this 2 ore more amp envellopes to controll the volumes of oscilators seperatetly.

For a bassdrum example.. i create with a very fast envelope and a square from osc.1 the attack sound and with a slower envelope and a sine of osc.2 the body (bass).

I want to use for this diffrent amp-envelopes to controll seperatetly the volumes of the oscillators, ring, noise.. and all the stuff. Does anybody know how i can make this with the andromeda..

you can control the volumes of the oscillators ,b.b. in the post mixer.
just route the envelop you like to it.
however when using the envelops other then "hardwired" (= eg1 to pitch, eg2 to vcf and env3 to vca), there is a delay of about 10ms ,at least !
so forget the ultra fast this way.
maybe another idea is to make a MIX of two monophonic patches , patch 1 the attack part and part 2 the body. that way you can keep in the hardwired fast mode by letting env 3 control the vca and i guess the timing will be much better then when freely using modulation routes within one patch.
just let them start by the same midichannel and 'voila.

very good Idea to use for Drums the mixes. Its a little more compecated but thats fine. The timing and the amp envelopes are then very tight and fast.

Yes with the post filter mix i have the same problem that the envelopes are to slow and i also can not controll the oscillators seperately. The mix way is a very good idea.

good for experimentals too , i guess.
for an easy bassdrum i normally keep it simple : one osc ( afterall it's a monophonic instument and two osc make it a bit drifting/ less tight). then preferably the 12db filter ( for an acousticlike sound ) and a lot of envelop on filter. then keeping the frequencies low and mostly that delivers oke.
afcourse with (two times) two osc and four filters available the sound could be cracking !. would be great to hear some of the results !
