Hello everyone,

I've picked up an M-Audio Axiom 25, and so far it looks to be a great piece of hardware to use as a small, portable replacement for my Keystation 88es, as well as a useful addition when in my home studio. However, I'd like to use the transport buttons (Play, Stop, Record, etc.) and they aren't set up for "out of the box" use. I've done the obligatory searches (here, Google, Cubase.net, etc.), but seem unable to find a solution for this.

I *have* found references to using Cubase's Generic Remote to solve the problem, but I have no more than a passing familiarity with it and it seems the way I'll need to assign the controls. Another possibility is to reassign the MIDI controls for those buttons on the Axiom 25 itself, but I don't know which controls Cubase needs to get for those commands. Someone here *did* do the latter to get it working with FLStudio:

Double-you-tee-eff? Any help would be appreciated. Smile

I should clarify that, as a general controller, it works fine. The drum pads trigger the notes that they should, as do the keys. It's just the transport buttons (Stop, Play, Record, etc.) that I need to set up properly.[/i]

This is where Axiom users (first-timers and power-users alike) are coming together:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/M-Audio_Enigma/

Tutorial docs in the files section, lots of help in the message archives, ask any relevant question you want.

The transport controls thing can be tricky, but we've got guys in this yahoo group that know the answer.
