anyone know of any place in berlin that sells components. like switches pots etc...
kinda like an equivalent to maplin in the uk?

Banzai effects are in berlin. they also deliver world wide, and their stuff is quality. I use them all the time.

based on my own experiences:

moderately priced, good selection: segor.de (charlottenburg)
moderately priced, ok selection: sly.de (prenzlauer berg)
high priced, good selection: conrad.de (kreuzberg)
