Thanks for this links, KH4N, and welcome to electro-music.com.

Are you a ham radio operation. Is KH4N a call sign?

Hello Mosc, great site btw..

I began to use the name Khanfucius some years back as I was starting as an ambient DJ in nightclubs and at raves and other events here in Canada. The name has shortened over time to this small alias that I use online...

Back to the net-labels topic, I think that this movement shows the mainstream music industry that we've got our own options as independent artists. In the US you have RIAA threatening people like a lynch mob for downloading a few songs, claiming these people are to blame for their slumping sales. In fact the money and attention have only shifted to the smaller labels and independent artists, many of whom just want to get their music out and heard by the populace.

In the electronic music scene the DJs are catching on. They're spinning tracks digitally with a CD turntable, Stanton's Final Scratch or Native Instrument's Traktor. As mentioned in another post in this forum, mixes on Subsource.de feature net-audio only.. we're supporting eachother, its very strong community.

Anyhow I could ramble on for awhile.. might aswell end here.

Cheers!
