I want to build a 633 ringmod. Two things: is there a reason why it should be ac coupled? should it have atenuators on the ins? I noticed that most ringmods don´t have those, but there is propably a difference between a loud or soft mod source.
I´ll experiment anyway, just like to hear your experiance.

Can anyone tell me the difference between modulating and multiplying. It sounds kind of the same. Normal?

I replaced the switch with a pot. Going from ground to y. Sounds like this just makes the modulation effect stronger. Have to watch this on the scope.
