Somebody has most probrably already asked this but thought it would be quicker to ask than search for it Smile
Is there an easy way to import Patches from the yamaha FM synths into the G2 or do I have to just recreate them from scratch.

I know the machine is capable of doing the sounds so just a technical query really.

Cheers Tom

also because FM implemented on the TX81Z uses many different waveforms, not only sine waves.

Ah yes this is true i forgot that old chesnut about it using different waveforms. Ah well. I suppose I could just recreate patches that I needed anyway copied from the other DX machines Smile

Some TX81Z alternate waveforms can be made with rectifier shaper. I don't have a TX81Z but I suspect that although the waves can be made to look the same, the sound is quite different. See my lately bass post.
