Midi Controler Programming Problems |
|
|
Hallo,
i have bought the Midi Controller "M-Audio Trigger Finger" to control Ablton Live 5
My request:
For each Song i want to use 16 Pads.
That means: 4 Drum Loops, 2 Basslines, 3 Synthleads .......(for each song)
Each Pad should control one Pad to Start and Stop the loop
1. Song = 16 Pads Preset 1
2. Song = 16 Pads Preset 2
3. Song = 16 Pads Preset 3
...........................
To program the Pads in Ableton i push the "Midi" Button, and then i can connect the Pads with the respective loop.
Now I have the problem, that every Pad (16 x 16 Pads) must have an unambiguous definition.
That means that every Pad is connected to exactly one Loop.
So i must define 256 Loops to 256 Pads (16x16)
At the time for example I have the problem, that on Preset 1 I have an C1 and on Preset 3 I have an C1 too. (Both Pads have the same Note)
And Ableton says: "The Pad has been filled already - do you want to override?"
And thats aking too much of me....
There is the Enigma-Software, where I can program the Pads....
But there are for each Pad 3 Property-Possibilitys..... to change the Midi Channel, and the Note ........ (Note, CC, PGM)
No Pad should reserve double.....
Can you help me?
On the hotline, one man said to me, that i should send the PReset 1 on Midi Channel 1, the Preset 2 on Midi Channel 2, Preset 3 on Midi Channel 3 ................
I have try it , but it doesn´t work.
But always after programming a few pads, Ableton brings the message:
"The Pad has been filled already - do you want to override?"
I hope you can help me, because next week I have an Live-Gig and I need a solution.
Thanks a lot
and sorry form my bad english.....
Bye
