Hi guys,
I am getting a sampler (Roland SP-404) this christmas and I'm planning on using it with my surf rock band to throw in the odd sound effect or sound bite here or there. Since this is midi-controllable my first idea was to get a foot controller for it, but one thing I like about this band is that I only use one pedal, the footswitch for my amp, and I don't like to spend the whole night stomping on buttons on the floor.
There is a lot of room on the guitar I use for this band and I was wondering if there was some kind of a lightweight midi controller that I could somehow mount to the top of it? Could I make this myself or does someone do it already? I'm a little techno-savvy but I'm not an electrician. Any advice would be much appreciated.
