this little guy really makes some loud noise and is very fun. only three switches and one big color coordinated knob (okay and some resistors). check out the sound attachment and please let me know what you think. at some point I'll also try and post some pics.

the one knob controls some combination of pitch and filtering/eventual glitching. I just gave the knob a little wiggle in the right resistance zone and got your whawha effect.

honestly the reason I have not posted pics is because I would like to add some bright LEDs and possibly a paint job to make it visually suitable for the camera. Not that it looks dirty or like crap, but just plain.

hey, sounds pretty awesome. my first bent instrument was a casio pt-87, but i found it pretty hard to find room in it to add switches etc. i left the speaker in, but i guess taking it out would be the best solution.

now i'm working on a pt-100, really finding some awesome sounds from it.

same thing here. I was able to mount switches at the top and near the speaker at the bottom. the biggest pain was mounting the potentiometer which took a little work with the drimmel, but with now damage to the exterior. I've left the speaker in for now, but there's not much room left so we'll see. all in all I think I'll leave this guy pretty simple and straight forward since the knob gives it lots of variety all ready. also keeping it simple makes it more fun for anyone who just picks it up. so when friends come over I can hand it to them and the almost immediately they are making noise and smiling.

yeah thats a good point, having a good instrument for friends to play, haha.
but yeah, i think i'm about ready to remove the speaker. only downside is the fact that its a monophonic keyboard. not a big deal though.

Heh, someone gave me their pt-82 a while back.

The thick sound you got is great.

Here is a file w/o effects an not multitracked, just me messing around with a bent pt-82.

I was able to pick up radio stations with a touch point and able to slow this thing way down. There was also a bend i found that made a strange pitch up when a key was pressed followed by a pitch down when a key was released. Sort of a gliding effect.

sadly it's in a paper bag in pieces waiting to be put back together.

thats pretty weird with the radio station. how did you go about figuring that out? i find that really awesome.

i just hate how this keyboard only has one note polyphony, but thats my only complaint i guess. oh and lack of space still, ahah.

i'll post a sound sometime soon

this little guy sat on the "floor-o-toys" and saw a little recording action from time to time. now I finally take some time to give it visual credit.
