Well, as you might of figured, I love art deco and streamline art. As a kid, I used to go down to the local repair shop owned by Mr Odom. He had the neatest old radio collection! I also love Terry Gilliams Film Brazil and David Lynches Dune. I started out in 2001 circuitbending. I had that book about experimental instrument makers and read the Reed Ghazala interview and thought that it would be fun. As everyone else, Iused plastic cases at hand and purchased ones from Radioshack. But my love for design and art quickly pushed me into the current direction.
I use mostly found objects and often find stuff at garage sales, thrift stores and goodwill. stuff on the side of roads and in dumpsters gets a second look. I have friends and family give me stuff also. I have bins full of various brass, stainless steel and chrome bits floating around. as far as tools, it's pretty simple Hand tools and a dremmel. My mother in law purchased a ryobi drill press for me when i graduated school. My workbentch is an old teachers desk with a sawed doen barstool.
Circuitwise, I keep an ear out on whats going on. The internet is amazing source for schematica and all. I really get inspired here over all y'alls postings! Ihave progressed from circuitbending, to kits and now breadboarding synth circuits.

Thanks
Mike

As far as the circuits go, The jr theremin in the thereminesque piece and the electronic bagpipe circuit used in stylophonic device can be purchased through apogeekits.com. they are the american distributor for madlab kits out of ireland(UK).
