thanks, you can listen to the original version recorded by him in 1983 clicking on the abovementioned web site and selecting the album of which that tune is the title track.

Some thoughts.

There are many kinds of beauty. But the most difficult and dangerous for the artist to attempt is that which encompasses any form of gentleness, because to achieve that one almost always has to sail perilously close to the shores of the trite and the sentimental. This piece and your interpretation achieve beauty missing those treacherous shores most admirably.
