i don't think i have ever astral projected, but i do sometimes lucid dream....i become aware durring the dream that i am dreaming, and i can (or seem to be able to) control my actions. i don't really know if i can control other people's acitons, or circumstances.
recently, i've been trying to remember to, when i realize i'm dreaming, sit down, close my eyes, and meditate (in my dream)....it seems the most interesting thing...in a dream state, what happens when you intentionally close out the dream and just be? i've accomplished it twice so far (as far as i can remember), once several months ago, and once recently (i didn't remember until the day after). both times, i floated, felt blissful, and woke up....i think i'm gonna google lucid dreaming.

A good read but they step on the toes of my pet peeve. “Einstein” should be preplaced with “Minkowski”
Edit:
To make clear it was “Minkowski” who developed the idea of the world line and 4 dimensional space time from Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. Einstein, after a year or so of remedial math in tensor calculus took those ideas and went on to create General Relativity. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

From this site: http://www.radionicsmagic.com/
What is Radionics?
Radionics is a method of manipulating subtle energies using specialized instruments. A radionics practitioner can work on any target such as humans, animals, plants, the soil, buildings, the environment etc... Radionics uses special machines with internal Psionic patterns and the patterns can be adjusted and tuned by an operator to perform a number of various magical tasks. Therefore Radionic machines are much more versatile than Psionic patterns because the same machine can easily be adjusted to work for hundreads of different purposes wherin a psionic drawing is typically used for a single purpose. Psionic patterns are much more accurate then a Radionics machine but are not adjustable. Therefore the two are used together for maximum effect.
The name 'radionics' is somewhat misleading since this form of healing has nothing to do with radio or radio waves, neither does it have anything to do with electronics but the machines are made from electrical components to simplify construction.
Example of a top of the line Radionics Machine used specifically for healing. Retail price, Over $3,100!
I will teach you to build a similar machine for less than $20 from materials found at your local Walmart & Radio Shack.
That thing looks like it would be as much fun as a Moog Voyager.
I have astral projected (out of body) a couple of times, but I never made it out of the galaxy. I got just above the local spiral arm though. What a view. _________________ --Howard

just don't get stuck in purgatory...that always sucks.
also beware alien portals...they always take you to some desolate, tripped-out corner of the galaxy that doesn't makes any sense at all. plus it always takes like 6 aeon to get back to earth. unless of couse, you have mastered the tessaract...

i recently had a chance to discuss my lucid dreaming experements with two ramakrishna vedanta order monks (swami's) that i know (ramona is a devotee, i prefer to have friends to gurus). they were very interested, and immediately one asked, "if you meditate and attain enlightenment while you are in a dream state, are you enlightened when you wake up?"
the other replied, "yes, but it is possible that you only dream that you are enlightened, and in that case you would not be."
the funny part, is that this was not the surreal part of the discussion. these were 2 swami's dressed in orange robes...and they got into a "which is better, mac or windows" debate...now _that_ was surreal!

...like that debate always ends. one prefers his mac, but doesn't want to see it gain market share so viruses are less of a problem, and one prefers windows

...i should also say that both of these swami's have advanced degrees (math and chemestry). if you are interested, some of their talks can be found here:

...our band (the lothars) played at "universal brotherhood day" at the providence ashram a year or so ago...they often have very good indian musicians as well.

I'd like to astral project right into their wallets!
I'd give half of all my ether acquired cash to charity of course.
Wasn't that radionics machine on Southpark?
