Hi everyone,

Welcome to the subforum dedicated to the European Modular Event 2007.

This forum will serve as a means for communication between the attendees of the Event.

You can post any of your ideas for activities here and discuss them with others. You can discuss about any instruments/equipment that you would like to bring, the music you like to make, the food you like to eat and the drinks you like to drink and/or whatever is on your mind.

This is also the space where those of you that want to conduct a little workshop or do a presentation can place an introduction for that workshop or presentation.

Official announcements from the organisation will also be placed here.

See ya,
/Rob

Yes, we are talking about the same event !

The Event is named European Modular Event 2007, but as the name of the Chateau where it takes place is Chateau Frandeux the organisers rebaptized it into Chateau Sonore for the duration of the Event. We thought that Chateau Sonore is quite a suitable name for a Chateau where such an Event takes place. Wink

Let's cut open a "winkelwagentje" , dig a big hole, fill er up with charcoal and some mesquite and...voila! Massive barbeknoei!! Sit around, smoke a pipe. I can already smell it !!!
See you there people,

From the wiki:

The origin of both the barbecue cooking activity and term are somewhat obscure. The word itself varies in spelling; variations include barbeque, BBQ, and Bar-B-Q.

Most etymologists believe that the word barbeque ultimately derives from the language of the Taíno people of the Caribbean"barabicu", which translates as "sacred fire pit".[1] In one form, barabicoa or barbicoa indicates a wooden grill or a mesh of sticks; in another, barabicu, it is a sacred fire pit.

Catch the hen and BBQ lol
