One or two times in a week when I launch G2 editor he shows this error:
"Version mismatch, Nord Modular G2 Rack V1.40" and doesn't see my new G2 Expanded 3Octave Keyboard, the only way to solve this problem is to switch on/off G2, then editor launches.
Sometimes, when I launch Synth Updater he shows Nord Modular G2X, but mine is 3 octave expanded Nord Modular G2, non G2X Sad

What could it be? Confused

Computer: Windows XP SP2
Mobo ASUS P5PL2
P4 3.2 Ghz Single Core

[update] On the other computer situation is the same Sad

Problem solved: I sorted my synth out in local Clavia distributor Very Happy
Seems like that was a USB hardware issue in Nord Modular G2 synth Sad

I hope, Jan, that this problem will not hit you Shocked

I think that it was a corrupted data chip, which served USB communication between synth and PC driver (this explains G2 driver madness) Confused
