Subject description: Wave is changing the selected sounds randomly when receiving midi cc's

I am currently using a patch in Max/Msp to control my nord wave. This involves a sequencer sending on two midi channels, note out messages to the two slots in the Wave seperately. There is also a modulation section sending midi cc messages to control specific parameters. The trouble is the Wave is changing the selected sounds in the two slots randomly, every now and then and I have no idea why.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to how much midi cc data can be received by the wave before the unit gets confused and starts behaving erratically?

I have also noticed similar behaviour in my G2 Engine. Do the nords get confused with too much midi data? I thought you could send a lot of midi data all at once. I am only sending two midi channels with 5 midi cc's on each channel.

Perhaps it is just because Clavia haven't finished the operating system yet as it is still v0.96. There is not a lot about midi in the manual.

Indeed, sometimes to much Midi data can confuse the synth, but mostly it freezes. Better report this to Clavia as a bug.

But I wouldn't consider that to be a lot of midi data. Two midi channels with 5 midi cc's on each, would you?

I does sometimes freeze up as well.

I'll send clavia and email.
