Ok. Kassen you know what I asked.
I just saw another post by someone who has an old laptop running w2k and
they mentioned that the miniAudicle doesnt work for them either.
But I think they might have thought that the laptop (hardware wise) wasnt up to the job rather than pointing the finger at w2k.
So now i'm pretty sure that the Audicle doesnt run on windows2000.

So next time some poor guy comes here looking for the answer dont delete his account and make him feel sad stuck in his hotel room 1000 miles from home with his stupid work laptop.

Laughing

That's not how I look at "next time"...

I think you should email Spencer with a detailed explanation of how it crashes and provide him with all the details he may ask for in the hope that "next time" such a guy could express his sadness livecoding a sad piece of music... or go down to the lobby and perform a happy one. :¬)

ChucK, the Mini, etc, are getting better all the time. Partially that's because we have very talented dev's with great ideas but it's also because users report bugs and send in suggestions.

Yeah. Maybe I should email him with the issue.
But to be honest, supporting w2k is hardly going to be top of their list of things to fix? Still it might be good to give it mention somewhere that it doesnt work with the OS.

Well, it should either support Win2K or not say on the page that it'll run on 32 bit versions of Windows... The docs should line up with the actual behaviour, I think.

You could also imagine that this would be a symptom of some error... No harm could be done by reporting it... Maybe it's even just caused by some issue on your system.
