Calendar Event: May 25, 2008 Ahhh springtime, when a man's heart turns to shamelessness !!!
It's just me again, doing what I do best...and that would be the shameless self promotion of my "fourth dimensional" guitar stylings. On Sunday May 25th, 2008, the next stop of the "Outer Worlds Tour of the Universe" brings us to the Prairie Arts Festival in BFI.....oops, I mean the beautiful hamlet of Schaumburg, IL !!!
I'll be playing a couple of sets starting at 10am (10am-12pm) over at the South Stage (just south of the village hall over by the food vendors....just the way I like it!!!) It's a free show....plenty of parking....lot's of great food....and a wonderful opportunity to support the artists (including me!!!) that are participating in this festival of the arts!
The Prairie Arts Festival @ The Prairie Arts Center
201 Schaumburg Court
Schaumburg, IL 60193
Here's a blurb about the festival taken from the village website:
Talented artists from around the country will display and sell their original work at the 21st annual Prairie Arts Festival. The festival will be held May 24 and 25 on the grounds of the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center from 10 am to 5 pm each day.
Distinctive clothing, glass, jewelry, paintings, photography, pottery, and sculpture are featured at this juried exhibition and sale that includes approximately 155 jewelers, painters, photographers, and sculptors throughout the U.S and Canada.
Each year, the free outdoor festival draws those who come for the scenic surroundings, to purchase quality artwork, and enjoy the wide variety of art on display.
"This is a juried Fine Art Show and Sale offering cash prizes for winning entries, as well as wonderful live entertainment and food vendors selling delicious fare to enjoy while at the festival,” said Roxane Benvenuti, Schaumburg Special Events Coordinator. The Schaumburg Park District also sponsors children's art activities on the grounds of the festival.
I look forward to seeing you there !!!

Oh yeah! That´s today! Break a leg!
I dunno what to say to a man with a guitar. Break your neck?
Good luck! Play like the devil!

Hi Stein!
I have a new guitar as well.....a blue flame, Godin LGXT and I'm quite happy with it. There are three outputs on it....regular electric guitar...a piezi electric pickup that emullates acoustic guitar sounds...and a midi pickup that wprks with my Roland GR20. It opens up a whole new landscape for me. I plan on bringing it to EM08.......
Hope all is well with you my friend !!!
