I'm looking at buying an Andromeda.

Is it true that there is no key hold for playing the arpeggiator? meaning you always have to keep the keys pressed manually ? if so is there a way around it ?

thanks.

switchpedal or simple insert an stereoplug with tip and ring connected or put a small piece of paper/carboard between three keys with the middle one depressed.

i think he means a foot switch of the 'on/off' type.

see the explanation of foot switches at p.22 of the manual.

i've got a basic foot switch plugged into the 'sustain' socket on the back panel.

if i hold down an arpeggiating chord and then depress the footswitch, the chord keeps arpeggiating (after i've lifted my hand) until i press the footswitch again.

which gives me space to go and fiddle with my modular while the A6 arpeggiates away in the background. Cool
