Friends: I've started a new channel on Vimeo to showcase some of my short films. Vimeo provides for HD delivery and much higher audio quality than YouTube, and it's ideal for those exploring film and video as an art form.

I have three HD films currently available: LUX, Dreamwood, and One Year. All have electro-acoustic soundtracks, featuring Buchla 200e and Haken Continuum, bowed vibraphone, and electric guitar with computer processing. Please take a look (be sure to view the HD versions if you have the bandwidth), and I hope you enjoy them. Thanks.

"Pneuma" is based on growth patterns generated by celluar automata software, processed in Adobe After Effects to create constantly changing structures ranging from crystalline to architectural. The soundtrack is a live improvisation on the Buchla 200e analog modular synthesizer, controlled by the Haken Audio Continuum Fingerboard fretless keyboard. This HD version was rendered in May, 2008.

Warning: "Pneuma" displays an intense, periodic flicker pattern that some may find uncomfortable. Those subject to seizures should not view this film.
