Hello all,
I have copied chuch.exe into the system32 folder (I am running in windows xp) and brought it up in the command prompt, but when I go to run chuch.exe, the window opens but then closes quickly. Any ideas why this would happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

chuck.exe itself is a command-line program,
so you might wanna use a terminal or 'MS DOS Prompt'
then try 'chuck'

it will say it require some input file (chuck .ck file)
you can try chuck with a .ck file in the examples.

you can check out what you can do with command-line chuck here:
http://chuck.cs.princeton.edu/doc/program/vm.html

there are some about this in the pdf manual you've got with the chuck package also.

enjoy ^_^

You're supposed to have the command prompt open beforehand and then run chuck.

I'm running Linux here but I think it goes: Start - Run dialog - type "command.com" - type "chuck" in the command prompt.
This should make chuck go "Hi, I'm working but you didn't give me any files to work on. :) "

I think just typing "cmd" there will do as well.

Nicer is getting the executable (with a icon and so on) for it, I think by default it's in start/programs/ascesories, and putting that somewhere accesible. by right-clicking on that icon you can set stuff like the text and background colours. I use two such links, one in red and one in green to easily keep my terminals apart.
