Sorry if it's a noobish question (I'm good at soldering and replacing parts but not the theory behind how things work)

This ARP odyssey I'm restoring seems to use a mini AC light bulb in the switch which has burned out. By the look of the schematic it has about a 100k resistor only between the bulb and the AC lines. Nothing else, so this bulb must be running right off of 115v.

Question is this: Anyone have a recommended bulb replacement type to lookout for at the nearest electronics shop, or is there a very easy way to sub an LED in there from the AC line? Not sure if an LED would work without an extra circuit of somesort since it is a diode and the lamp is AC...

Any help would be great! The more I learn the better. Just finished rigging this thing from 220V to 120V and am really pumped to get it in tip top shape.
