Is there a Thomas Henry 1v Oct/resistor chain schematic out there in the public domain?
I have found others of course, but I like Thomas's stuff.

Sorry, no, there isn't any. Thomas used a keyboard diode matrix to DAC design. State Machine and I have created a newer version based on his original work (and grown and grown from there!) that you can follow here:http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-29746.html

Thanks Dan, I have one of those ready to build soon as I clear the backlog, looks like you guys did great work there.........this is for a custom thing, I can always use a CGS PCB. Thought I'd check.
