Hi everyone!
I'm a new SuperCollider user. I'm currently discovering its capabilities with Nick Collins' tutorial. And it's pretty amazing! Very Happy

I just have a problem with JStethoscope (I'm running SC with linux (ubuntustudio 9.04) and SwingOSC). When I try the example code from the help file :

Code:
(

Server.default = Server.local; // Server.internal;

s = Server.default;

s.boot;

)

(

{

SinOsc.ar([225, 450, 900], 0, 0.2)

+ LPF.ar(

LFPulse.ar(226 * [1, 2, 5],[0,0.1,0.1],0.2, 0.2),

JMouseX.kr(20, 10000, 1)

)

}.scope;

)

A window with a black screen appears, but nothing is displayed.

The same problem occurs with JFreqScope. The window with the graph area appears, but nothing is displayed...

I installed SuperCollider with Ubuntu Jaunty deb package and followed this page to install SwingOSC which seems to work fine when I make GUI with sliders...

I have an error message when I use scope which probably contains the solution of my problem. but I don't understand it...

Code:

java.net.BindException: Ne peut attribuer l'adresse demandée
/set : java.lang.IllegalStateException : ScopeView.setBufNum : call startListening before!
   at de.sciss.swingosc.ScopeView.setBufNum(ScopeView.java:343)
   at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
   at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
