I want to hook my LEAD up to a sequencer on my PC. My PC doesn't have a MIDI card, so I want to try a "MIDI-to-USB" devices like one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00007JRBM/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000JLU26W&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1QX1AA43NPPP5PP1SMAV

http://www.amazon.com/EMU-Xmidi-1x1-MIDI-Interface/dp/B000JLU26W

For those of you with original LEADs, do you just use midi or are these MIDI-to-USB devices a solution? Do you think either of these will work for me with the original LEAD?

Thank you.

I use a MidiMan Midisport 2x2, which works fine, but isn't in production anymore. It is a Midi to USB set up.

A 1x1 will do!
Beware the Lead doesn't have a Midi Trough!
It has to be the last device in line...
