Hi Amnesia,
It is a while since u posted this. I am sure you have it worked out now, I need to ask you or anyone else who knows how to get past this stage with the card also please.

This is the 1st time I have tried to use the cards.

So, you want to store some sound from the user bank to the card, right?

Select user sound you want to store, press "Store" button, press left/right "Bank" button (I don't remember which one because I don't have A6 here) until you select destination card bank ("CARD 1, 2, 3, ..."), then select location with "Program Group/Number", press "Store" again and that's it ...

Excellent thanks for your help- HrastProgrammer , now I can not wipe out any more user sounds, and start having fun with the cards.

p.s I checked out your music and really like it, great!

Thanks!

BTW, on the "STORE" screen, you can select destination bank/program number using soft knobs 1 & 2, as well, although I prefer to use bank and program group/number buttons, much more convenient to me.

Also, you can copy the whole USER bank to the card ... select "COPY" page, select "PRG BANK" for "TYPE", "USER" for "SRCBNK", appropriate CARD bank for "DSTBNK" and press "STORE".

If that's not enough, you can even rewrite PRESET banks (which reside in Flash memory) with USER bank, just select "PRESET 1" or "PRESET 2" for "DSTBNK" ... I haven't tried this, so this is just "according to the manual".

So, there is plenty of patch locations inside Andromeda, especially if you have 2 MB RAM card ... 2x (rewritable) PRESET banks + 1x USER bank + 8x CARD banks = 11 banks x 128 patches = 1408 patches in total thumb up
