iExterminate is a neat ring modulator app, written by two of our own members, Tom and Andy, v-un-v and BobTheDog. Way to go guys.

This is only $0.99 and it works great. You can record 4 tracks via the mic. I can't tell if there is any time limit. You can play them back through the ring modulator. There are two osc settings, Lo and Hi. You can control the modulation index and some other parameters though the eye controller on the center of the screen. You can even use 4 presets.

This is a lot of fun. I'll have to think of ways to work this into a live performance.

Tom and Andy are working on more apps. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

Hi Howard,

I am not too sure but I think the size limit for all recordings is limited to 2GB depending of course on how much free storage space you have on the device.

Recordings are 16 bit at 44.1K and are mono. So you should be able to fit quite a bit into 2GB!

Cheers

Andy

We are also working on version 1.1 which will include.

1. Ability to choose between using sliders or eye control to alter frequency and mix.

2. Control over the noise gate used to start recordings.

3. Ability to turn looping on and off.

4. Ability to send WAV files of your creations over EMail.

and possibly:

5. LFO for modulating frequency

Cheers

Andy
