Sleeveless LED

I'm trying to mount a small, round LED through a hole in an aluminum panel.

The size of the hole is perfectly matched to the LED, so I don't want to use a plastic sleeve. I just need to somehow attach it from the other side of the panel. Any ideas how to do it?
(possibly without glue, so that the LED can be replaced when it burns out)

Try a drop of silicone sealant. You always can remove it.

i used to use tape between the leads... ifs its soldered down well, the tape will be fine.

for example, dont soldier it to a wire but directly to a surface mounted pot via it's lead, that should hold it there.
