Digitally controlled semimodular through OSC

Hi,
I am getting started with building modular synths and was wondering if the following is feasible (cost, complexity, anything that comes to mind). While I was looking for a small solution that is quick to patch and easy to control, I found the Bergfotron Amore.

I am interested in doing a similar system, except that patching is done in software (routing any output to any input). The midibox wiki is discussing this:

If possible, I would also like to send CV signals from software, in order to control & modulate the synthesizer (like Motu Volta). Here is the basic idea (ADC not essential):

What you're talking about doing is certainly possible. Be aware that the switch matrix has a fairly limited signal range, so you may not be able to handle the full range of control voltages you'll need.

Is the block marked "OSC" actually the CPU by any chance?
